Finally a use for a crappy domain - 2007-03-26 18:36:06
I thought I'd be able to play Oblivion "real time", but apparently not since it's been 3 weeks in real life and only 2 weeks in the game. Oh well it'll just last longer I guess.
So my foolish Dark Elf's journal now exists on the interweb. I had one of these for Morrowind but never put it anywhere accessable (well never created a link to where it was).
So far it's been a fun game, though I have to turn down the prettiness to take screenshots since they just don't get taken when I press print screen if I have anti-aliasing on. Since I scale my screenshots down a bit hopefully that'll be masked anyway - though I do also crop heavily sometimes.
I haven't got the skills to go to third person in combat (except when the fight is really easy or in a big area in which I can run away, frame the shot, miss time the print screen, and try all over again) so I suspect there won't be many action pics.
There are two real purposes to all this:
- Provide some incentive to finish the damn game.
- Provide an incentive to play a maximum of a game day at a time - so as not to waste a Sunday...
Of course I suspect that second point won't matter to much, I'll get so far behind trying to catch up will have the reverse effect.
